A selection spanning John Milton’s poetic career, from his early shorter poems through substantial selections from Paradise Lost and Paradise Regained and the complete Samson Agonistes. It includes L’Allegro, Il Penseroso, and Lycidas and explores faith, temptation, mortality, freedom, obedience, and humanity’s relationship with God.
